The Coffs coast game and sport fishing club {CCGSFC) is a non for profit organisation family orientated club with a group of members that share in a passion for fishing be it fishing the awesome waters off our coast or exploring the amazing inland waterways that the Coffs coast has to offer. The club was formed in 2018 as a result of the amalgamation of the Coffs harbour game fishing club and the Solitary islands game fishing club. Together having over 40 years of history.

We are fully affiliated with the NSW Game Fishing Association and the GFAA.

The club is based between the Coffs Harbour Golf Club and the establishments owned by the Welcome Hospitality Group (Moonee Hotel, Toormina Hotel and Sawtell Hotel.

The waters off our coast are warmed by the East Australian current which brings blue, black and striped marlin, as well as wahoo, tuna, mahi mahi, mackerel, spearfish and sailfish all within easy reach. The region is unique on the east coast of Australia as far as ready access to diversified game fishing is concerned, with the continental shelf and the big fish that inhabit it only 13 nautical miles and a comfortable 45 minute run seawards.

In the summer months gamefish such as black and striped marlin, sailfish, wahoo' mahi mahi and mackerel can be caught literally a stone's throw from the harbour entrance.

We are not just a game fishing club but a club that embraces all types of fishing as evidenced by our extremely popular "River to Reef "competition. So If reef fishing is your thing or fishing the magnificent inland waterways that we are so fortunate to have at our doorstep then this is the club for you.
